In 2023, I worked as the staff assistant intern for the
Wilson Center Science and Technology Innovation Program's Serious Games Initiative,
which strives to communicate critical science and technology issues through game design.
I conducted academic research and translated that work into engaging narrative elements and game mechanics.
I was fortunate to be part of the teams that made the following games:
Conversation Vibrations
My partner and I created Conversation Vibrations with for our term project in COSC 29.06/129: Digital Tangible User Interfaces. It started with the question,
how can we blur the boundaries between our voices and visual art?
For this project, I coded the generative digital art in Processing,
and I used Autodesk to rapidly prototype custom parts for the Arduino motors, which powered the kinetic art board.
Encoded WDCR is a digital art installation coded in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
that examines the meaning of space and emotions in the preservation of a broadcast organization's memory.
